First Steps Count Receives Generous Donation from Manning River Ratz Rugby Club

First Steps Count Child is delighted to announce that we have received a generous donation of $800 from the Manning River Ratz Rugby Club, following their annual Indigenous Round. This donation is a testament to the club's commitment to supporting local community initiatives and their ongoing partnership with First Steps Count.

The indomitable players from Manning River Ratz Rugby Club

The Manning River Ratz Rugby Club, locally known as "The Rats," is a rugby union club based in Taree, playing in the Lower Mid North Coast competition. With teams in both men's 15s and women's 10s, the club is renowned for its family-oriented atmosphere and welcoming spirit, always eager to embrace new players and members.

The Indigenous Round is a significant event for the club, not only celebrating the rich cultural heritage of Indigenous Australians but also raising funds for community organisations like First Steps Count. The club's consistent support during this round has been invaluable, enabling us to continue our purpose providing a safe, inclusive space for families and children in the Mid Coast region.

This donation underscores the importance of community collaboration and the positive impact that local organisations can have on one another. First Steps Count is proud to partner with the Manning River Ratz Rugby Club and looks forward to continuing this relationship, working together to make a difference in the lives of children and families in Taree.
