Grow In Our Community
Grow In Our Community is an innovative community garden project designed to engage families attending the First Steps Count Child and Community Centre. The project focuses on the therapeutic benefits of gardening, fostering social connections, and developing the skills necessary for its ongoing sustainability.
This 12-month initiative, funded by the Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal (FRRR) and launched in November 2024, aims to bring community members together around a shared purpose: building, planting, and growing a thriving community garden.
