First Steps Count Announces Partnership with Paton Hooke Lawyers

5 March 2026 – First Steps Count is pleased to announce a new partnership with Paton Hooke Lawyers, a Taree‑based law firm that will provide pro bono legal expertise to support the hub’s ongoing operations and growth.

The partnership will see Paton Hooke assist with licence agreements for service providers operating within the hub, offer ad hoc legal advice, and support the hub’s commitment to transparency in its operations. This collaboration strengthens First Steps Count’s ability to deliver reliable, community‑focused services while building meaningful connections with local businesses.

Paton Hooke Lawyers has been serving the Mid Coast region for over 100 years, providing clear and reliable support to individuals, families and businesses. The firm’s services span family law, wills and estate planning, mortgage agreements, conveyancing, business law, will disputes, litigation and notary public services. While based in Taree, they work with clients across surrounding areas including Wingham, Old Bar, Forster‑Tuncurry, Harrington and Nabiac.
