New Parents Group with Hunter New England Local Health District

The New Parents Group is a weekly gathering held every Tuesday morning, bringing together first-time parents and their brand new babies to share, learn, and connect in a calm and welcoming environment.

Facilitated by a qualified child and family health nurse, the group provides expert guidance on navigating the early stages of parenthood, including sleep, feeding routines, and general care. It offers a space to build real skills and knowledge while forming lasting friendships with other parents facing similar experiences.

Many families find this group to be a gentle first introduction to the wider support and community offered at First Steps Count.
